Recall alert: Fiskars, Craftsman saws recalled for laceration risk

Craftsman chain saw recall
For the Craftsman recall, which is model CMECSP610, only chain saws with date codes of 2019-40 through 2020-35 are included. The date code is laser etched on the underside of the handle base. Consumers can get a free repair kit when they contact the company.
Craftsman says it has received one report of the recalled chain saw starting without operation of the switch causing a laceration injury to a consumer. The saw sold at Lowe s and other hardware stores nationwide and at Amazon from October 2019 through August 2020 for about $100.
