Here we are many decades later, and the topic of race and justice in america is just as raw as it has ever been. The gathering was inspired by Tanehisi Coates, who wrote our cover story last month, the case of a black family in the age of mass incarceration. He examined this countrys history of incarceration over the past 50 years and has tried to understand how america has outin carteret did every other country in the world and what it has done to families.
