Castellani states, “with the ongoing increased consumer demand for furniture products the necessity for retailers to review new product offerings, becomes more important today than ever before. Knowing that traditional furniture markets will be affected by the pandemic the industry needs alternatives in taking care of business”.

First Tuesday’s Committee has announced the additional date of March 2nd, 3rd and, 4th to their schedule. Originally supporting the High Point Pre-Market scheduled dates, this new additional date is in response to the reschedule of all announced market changes.
“With all the announced changes of Market dates, First Tuesday will continue to be an option as well as a solution for retailers and vendors to conduct business in a personalized, safe, and Market Ready environment showcasing new product introductions,” said Kevin Castellani Committee Member for First Tuesday. Announcing this new March date only reinforces the committee s commitment to responding to the industry needs and current market conditions.

The steering committee for the High Point “First Tuesday” Event has announced a logo and direction moving forward.
Based on the increased demands for home furnishings products and safety concerns surrounding covid 19 the committee has committed to several directives.
The first Tuesday Event for January will Open on January 5
th, 6
th as well as 7
th. These open dates are extended over 3 days based on the needs and requests of our retail partners. This past December there were over 85 showrooms open for retail traffic and expectations are that up to 100 showrooms will be open for the upcoming January event. All open showroom information will be presented at the entrance of each market building identifying shopping opportunities for retailers attending the event. The steering committee has each committed to showing new products and is requesting each open showroom
