Updated: 7:46 AM EDT Jul 16, 2021 Two Hendersonville first responders have been released from the hospital weeks after the ambulance they were working in was involved in a head-on collision.Officials with the Henderson County Rescue Squad said Thursday that Lindsey Burgess was released from Mission Hospital Thursday and Savannah Selby was released Sunday after the crash on June 30. They both have a long road of rehab ahead of them, Rhonda Chislaghi, with the Rescue Squad, said.She said Burgess had the latest in a series of foot surgeries on Monday.They also sustained facial trauma and lower leg injuries that have required them to undergo extensive surgeries, Chislaghi said in a release on July 1.
