FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) Firefighters respond to an early morning house fire Tuesday in North Fargo near North Dakota State University.
Crews were sent at 7:30 after a passerby noticed flames coming from the front side of the home on the 700 block of College Street North.
About four minutes after the call was made firefighters arrived on scene to find most of the fire already put out, but noticed there were still people inside.
“A couple passerby’s saw the fire and one had a Mountain Dew bottle and one had a water jug and they used those to knock down the bulk of the fire. There was two people inside the building but they were unaware so they were separated from it and didn’t know it was on fire until the police department as able to let them know,” Fargo Fire Department Battalion Chief Dane Carley said.
