commented. the victim s family plans to take legal action. new for you this morning, fire crews say that they have made progress against the raging wildfire near yosemite national park. still more than 234 square miles have burned. that s roughly the size of chicago. take a look at this dramatic picture. you can see the wind whipping the flames above the sequoia trees. more than 3,000 men and women are inside those flames. that s where the heat can reach more than 800 degrees. firefighters are also struggling to protect a huge reservoir that is in san francisco. it supplies 85% of the city s water and is being slowly polluted with ash. a minnesota campground is closed this morning after a teenager was attacked by a wolf. this is the picture of the wolf that state and wildlife officials think bit the 16-year-old boy on the head while he was sleeping outside of his tent. the teenager will be okay. that wolf trapped and killed. and is being tested now for
florida. good morning, everybody. welcome to a brand new hour of america s newsroom. i m bill hemmer. great to have you with us at home. jamie, welcome back. jamie: thank you, so much, bill. good morning to you and good morning to all of you. i m jamie colby in for martha maccallum. it all happened in tavares, florida, in the middle of the night. it is a suburb northwest of order. started at 11 an went on for an hour. authorities say there were 50,000 small propane canisters in the plant along with three massive tanks to fill them. fortunately none of the large tanks were affected. as you can see by the video, fire crews say most of the small canisters exploded. now the investigation is underway as to what caused it. we don t think there was any act of sabotage or a crime in progress. but the state fire marshall s office, lake county/ s office and city of tavares police department will work in unison
