i m wolf blitzer. you re in the situation room. we want to get to the breaking news we re following. a magnitude 7 earthquake has rumbled the new zealand city of christ church. the quake caused minor damage so far but there are some reports of injuries. i want to bring in dr. sebastian koga the neuro surgeon joining from us christ church hospital, quite close to the epicenter of the quake, i think about 20 miles or so. what do you see, doctor? give shaking and it seemed to go on and on. i stood in a doorway and it was probably ten minutes before i was able to get out of the house. the streets were in panic. i flagged a taxi who volunteered to take me to the hospital to check out our patients. christ church hospital is in an old building which is in the process of being replaced. our near surgery floor had ceilings collapse and evacuated patients to another ward. the emergency department was gearing up to deal with all the casualties. fortunately, the ambulances hav ....
