Salvadoran press highlights Cuba s Covid-19 vaccine trials
San Salvador, Mar 4 (Prensa Latina) Progress in clinical trials for the Cuban Soberana 02 vaccine project against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, which causes Covid-19, was highlighted on Salvadoran CoLatino daily on Thursday.
The oldest printed daily in El Salvador reported the authorization of the third phase of clinical trials of this vaccine candidate, developed by the Finlay Institute, Cuba.
CoLatino highlighted that Soberana 02 is the first Covid-19 vaccine candidate to reach phase three in Latin America, and its positive results are reported by media outlets such as the BBC and The New York Times.
