The Country Liberal Party failed to report almost $90,000 in electoral donations by the required deadline, an audit commissioned by the Northern Territory Electoral Commission (NTEC) has found.

Financial disclosure laws which requires corporations to say when they are contributing to organizations like minnesota forward and other states and on the federal level they can just give to these third party groups like minnesota forward or even the chamber of commerce and they aren t required, you know, outside groups aren t required to say who is contributing to them. the american people have no way of knowing if this is actually happening right now. there is record spending levels by groups by the chamber of commerce which indicates they may be corporations and may be trying to take advantage. we have no way of knowing so. democrats and other folks who support stricter disclosure laws actually tried to pass a piece of legislation to require stricter disclosures so we know exactly who is pulling the strings and who is dumping money into elections. it was called the disclose act. republicans in senate and congress voted that one down just a few weeks ago. let me ask you about that ....
