Kicking off the first-ever United Association Roadshow, the Financial Adviser Association has delivered the message it will help to drive supply and create the next generation of advisers committed to the profession.
The FAAA has found over two-thirds of members back the inclusion of a sunset clause though they were evenly split over the experience pathway. For the SIAA, the motivation is much simpler – the pathway is imperative for its base.
The newly-combined Financial Advisers Association will use next week’s roadshow to encourage existing members to renew membership. The FAAA will make stronger advocacy its top priority after listening to feedback from members.
Advisers providing personal advice may have an exemption regarding complying with Target Market Determination but confusion remains around proving the use of the information obtained.
