NW Regional Council : Pioneer Programme Budget Adopted
The FCFA 3 billion to be funded by Decentralization Fund and some non-State partners prioritizes peace building efforts, setting up of Regional Council etc.
The violation of some principles raised by Regional Councillors did not stop the adoption of FCFA 3 billion as the Pioneer Programme budget of the Regional Council on June 2, 2021. Deliberations stressed the need to limit spending on weak and risky areas in the face of the socio-political and security challenges rocking the region.
