Content included in the parternship include mainstream anime shows “Bakugan” and “Beyblade,” in addition to iconic children’s animated series such as “Babar,” “Braceface,” “Class of the Titans,” “Rupert,” “Tales from the Cryptkeeper,” “Donkey Kong Country,” “Rescue Heroes,” and “Franklin,” and more. March 11, 2021 FilmRise has inked a new deal to sell Nelvana’s programming to SVOD and AVOD platforms in the US and Europe. The New York-based distributor and AVOD network operator will manage digital rights to roughly 800 hours of kids content in the Corus-owned company’s library across the US, the UK, Ireland and Germany. Since getting into kids distribution last year, FilmRise has focused exclusively on the digital rights market, which it knows well as an operator of several proprietary AVOD channels. ....
