+ February 17, 2021 A BUSINESS organization that represents the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Cebu has recommended that MSMEs be part of the priority sectors in the upcoming Covid-19 vaccination program of the government.
This is because MSMEs are breadwinners and their stores have to operate daily to sustain jobs and earn income, according to Filipino Cebuano Business Club (FilCeb) chairman Rey Calooy.
“If you prohibit them, what will happen? They have to go out every day to operate their businesses. If they are already vaccinated, the spread of local transmission can be stopped,” he said.
