Founded in 2003, Domaine Gayda has forged a reputation for producing Languedoc wines that deliver quality and interest, showing the potential for unusual grape varieties and expressing the regions varied terroirs. Georgina Hindle talks to winemaker Vincent Chansault and tastes the latest releases.
Domaine Gayda is nestled in the heart of France’s south west, in the foothills of the Pyrenees surrounded by prime Languedoc wine territory. It is situated just 25km from the medieval walled city of Carcassonne in the village of Brugairolles.
