Titanic The Musical
This weekend, the most famous ship in history will dock at the Renaissance Theatre for a limited run of Titanic the musical, happening live and in person May 21-23.
The musical features an impressive cast of over 20 professional actors from Mansfield, Columbus, Cleveland and beyond. This cast is filled with familiar local faces such as Michael Miller as Capt. E.J. Smith, Ryan Shreve as Thomas Andrews, Scott Smith as Barrett, Lori Turner and Mark Crumrine as Ida and Isador Straus, Leah Gesouras as Mate Mullins, Miss Ohio 2020 Caroline Grace Williams, and even her dog, Oakley Williams. Ohio Civil War Show
The 2021 Ohio Civil War Show will take place 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and again 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday.
Admission is $7. Children 11 and younger are admitted for free. Visitors are asked to wear face masks. Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the grounds.
Those who arrive at the fairgrounds will be greeted by an eight-cannon battery.
Alongside them will be other artillery pieces, such as mortars, limbers and caissons.
The show includes a 1776 Revolutionary War living history encampment that will feature military drills, musket firing and colonial period camp cooking. Reenactors will explain various period military attire and offer other demonstrations.
