Coloradans hopeful for economic rebound after updated vaccination phases released
On Friday, Gov. Jared Polis unveiled new vaccination phases. If things go as planned, the general public could start receiving the vaccine by late spring.

DENVER â On a Friday night inside the Edgewater Public Market, Fetien Gebre-Michael started to see more customers than she has in months. During the middle of the pandemic, our revenues dropped by about 80% at one point. Now, we re only down by about 30%. Gebre-Michael said.
Gebre-Michael co-founded Konjo Ethiopian Food back in 2008 as a way to share her culture with Coloradans.

Start the weekend sitting virtual front row at the next Slam Nuba, a monthly performance poetry event that features renowned poets and storytellers from across the country, many of whom call Denver home. Slam Nuba began back in 2007, with Colorado Poet Laureate Bobby LeFebre and Slammaster Suzi Q. Smith among its earliest members. Now the current collective based at RedLine Contemporary Art Center continues to promote the power of poetry and literary engagement in marginalized communities, and will dedicate the final Friday of Black History Month to a double feature with Denver’s own Artsy Q and Baltimore-based Ephraim Nehemiah.
