Pub Dog (pubdogcolorado.com) pioneered the dog park/bar concept locally four years ago on Bott Avenue. The spotâs still barking strong, with weekly breed-specific meetups, trivia nights and more. But it will soon see some competition â if a 15-mile distance away can be considered that â in the form of Fetch Park (fetchpark.com), opening this winter off Interquest Parkway. Fetch launched in 2018 in Atlantaâs Old Fourth Ward neighborhood, with three more Atlanta locations coming this year, plus one in Columbus, Georgia, and Nashville, and this Springs spot. As renderings remain in the design phase, there are no details yet on the size of Fetchâs minor league baseball-inspired, off-leash, turf field, but a PR rep for the project says itâs âbig.â The facility will also feature cooling stations, a doggy bath area, shaded seating, TVs and a modified Airstream bar. Over in Germantown, there will be the first ever full service dog park bar! The dog park will be called Fetch Park and the business says it hopes to be through the permitting very soon and be able to begin construction. The park will have a full bar, restaurant, TVs, Wifi, cooling stations, dog bath area and a staff that will tend to your furry friend.
