Two suspected kidnappers have been arrested by the personnel of the Ondo State Security outfit codenamed Amotekun after a failed abduction of three church travellers during the Easter festivity.
The suspects were arrested along Ifira-Akoko-Idoani road in Ose council area of the state.
Vanguard gathered that the three travellers rescued by Amotekun personnel include Adewale Adebisi, 52; Miss Ahan Mary, 21 and Miss Ladi Bude, 23.
They were reportedly kidnapped at gunpoint while travelling with other church members from Benue State to Akure, the Ondo State capital.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Friday distanced himself from the rumour linking him with illegal acquisition of Falohun family land at Feru community of Iyana – Iyesi area of Ota in the Ado-Odo/Ota local government area of Ogun state.
Obasanjo, who declared that he neither knew any place called Feru, talkless of possessing any landed property in the community, said he has instructed the police to arrest anyone using his name as a cover-up to illegally acquire land anywhere in Ado – Odo/Ota local government area of the state.

Residents of Feru, Ado-Odo Local Government Area, Ogun, on Friday decried the destruction of the Oguntedo-Feru road by land grabbers.
The residents, who spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), in separate interviews, appealed to the government to bring the perpetrators to book.
They alleged that, on Jan. 20, some land grabbers brought bulldozers to damage the road, thereby disrupting economic activities in the affected area.
The 2.5 kilometer road is said to be the major access road linking Itele communities to Idi-Iroko, Iyesi town and Atan, and facilitates the economic activities of the people living in the area.
