Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine and Lt. Gov. Jon Husted announced more than $60 million in grants on Tuesday, April 26, in the first batch of awards through Ohio's new brownfield remediation program.
The state's new brownfield remediation program was not oversubscribed during the first round, despite lots of buzz. In Cuyahoga County, property owners, developers and public-sector partners are seeking $71.6 million in grants.
