The DuPage Monarch Project recently announced that DuPage County, Fermilab Natural Areas, and Darien Garden Club have been recognized for their outstanding contributions to pollinator conservation.
It’s been another wild week on the nature beat. The United Nations’ biodiversity conference kicked off Tuesday in Montreal with the UN Secretary-General calling humanity a “weapon of mass extinction.” Nowhere to go but up from there.
DuPage communities and park districts overcame the challenges of a second year of disruptions and uncertainties to continue progress on the shared vision of a county where bees, butterflies, and people thrive together.
