A major fentanyl and heroin ring being run out of Gloucester Township and Camden was recently busted after a 17-month investigation by state and local police.
The drug bust Operation Speed Bump reportedly uncovered enough fentanyl to kill a million people, reports Patch.com.
The ring was found to be in possession of 4 pounds of fentanyl, 5 pounds of heroin, and 6 pounds of cocaine, according to authorities. It only takes 2 milligrams of fentanyl to become a fatal dose, so the math there (and the potential for serious loss of life) is scary.
The drug ring was reportedly being run out of several homes in Gloucester Twp. and Camden, according to Patch.com.
