Yellow and red kiwi demand exceeds supply
The demand for yellow kiwi is growing on a global scale. Our yellow kiwi is constantly increasing in production, but it is not able to meet the market demand. The smell and taste, which is sweeter than the green variety, is what attracts new consumer groups, especially children. We had a harvest of about 13,000 tons, said Patrizio Neri of Jingold.

Sales abroad continue during this period and they are doing well, including those in Europe. Our kiwis are marketed almost 12 months a year, said Neri.
