The Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST) has indicated that it has an uphill task to achieve the buy a gadget campaign for every student, as out 3, 000 planned gadgets, they have only managed to get less than 500 gadgets.
MUST Vice Chancellor Professor Address Malata has since appealed to various stakeholders to continue supporting the university to achieve a gadget for every student initiative so as to enhance e-learning during Covid 19 pandemic.
“Most of our students come from poor families and they cannot manage to buy the gadgets. This is the reason we started this aggressive campaign to promote e-learning during this time of emergency,” said Professor Malata. ....
