Fauquier County and Fairfax County are tightening zoning regulations for data center developments. In March, the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors approved zoning changes.
Warrenton Mayor Carter Nevill broke a 3-3 Town Council deadlock this week and voted in favor of the Fauquier County Public Schools’ special use permit request to add approximately 16,000 square feet to the existing Taylor Middle School building, including a new auditorium, a media center as well as additional indoor and outdoor classrooms.
The Warrenton Planning Commission has approved Fauquier County Public School’s special use permit for the Taylor Middle School expansion and renovation project. Final approval now rests with Warrenton Town Council.
