The Carson City School District’s Board of Trustees is pleased to announce nine student winners of the 22nd Annual American Citizen Essay Contest. Each winner was recognized at the school board meeting Tuesday, Nov. 14, and received the following cash prizes: First Place: $100, Second Place: $50 and Third Place: $30.

The next Carson City School District School Board meeting will take place Tuesday Nov. 14 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Robert ‘Bob’ Crowell Board Room within the Carson City Community Center. Public Comment will be accepted in person, or through virtual participation via email; publiccomment@carson.k12.nv.us no later than 12:30 p.m.
