not a reason for women to run from us in the midterms? no question. i think you re going to see this actually play out. it played out to some degree in his 2004 confirmation hearing to the d.c. circuit appeals court. he was asked about this. this is what every conservative judicial appointee gets asked. the answer is going to be studied. it is going to be the same. it is going to be, i m going to wait and see what the facts are presented to me, and whether or not this is a ginsburg rule, whether or not this is actually written in stone. it has been the approach, it s been the generally accepted practice for judicial nominees to not give their personal viewpoints, to not prejudge cases that might come before the court. democrats can try and press this issue, can try and say that we need to talk about our personal views of a judicial nominee, but there s just not really going to be much they can do beyond, you know, hitting him over and over again at these confirmation hearings. that h
