The Augusta Barn Theatre is Back Live This Summer
It s happening! More and more things we loved about West Michigan are returning and opening up after being slammed in the face with a COVID pie!
And, one of our most favorite theatre experiences was always live theatre at the Barn Theatre School in Augusta. They are back!
There is nothing better than live theatre, and the 75th Anniversary Season brings back many fan favorites including Mamma Mia!, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Rocky Horror Show, along with Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5 The Musical, and Spongebob Squarepants The Broadway Musical along with special showings of films recorded last summer in “the Barn” and performances of Double “0” 69 written by the Barn Theatre’s own Brendan Ragotzy and A Slippery Slope by Patrick Hunter.

Augusta Barn Theatre Announces 2021 75th Anniversary Season
The Barn Theatre’s 75
th season will happen after all! The theater in Augusta has shifted the season to run from July through October, but there will be special events in June. Normally, the season runs from May into September, but there was no season in 2020, as the pandemic rendered theaters dark everywhere.
This summer, the Barn is bringing back several tried and true audience favorites, including Mama Mia, Jesus Christ Superstar, and the Rocky Horror Show. Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5: The Musical will also be staged as well as SpongeBob Squarepants: The Broadway Musical.
