and good morning, everyone. welcome to cnn this morning. i m amara walker in atlanta. good morning, amara. i m boris sanchez. coming to you live from memphis, tennessee, a city still reeling from the brutal beating of tyre nichols at the hands of five now former memphis police officers. the full video of that beating was released to the public just a few hours ago, amara. yeah, that s right, boris, and as many would say, it was very difficult to watch. that video shows the deadly encounter between tyre nichols and memphis police officers earlier this month. nichols was pulled over on january 7th allegedly for reckless driving, but the police chief said the department has been unable to find anything that substantiates those claims. in all, the video covers 38 excruciating minutes from the moment the officers pull him over to the moments after an ambulance arrives at the scene. the videos show officers hitting the 29-year-old repeatedly, kicking him in the face, even a

sometimes on a daily basis. the white house said to reporters throughout the day the president or no one in the white house had seen the video ahead of time. obviously by 7:00 p.m. that had changed. but what they were doing is show meaningful things that this issue was on the top of president biden s mind. that included a phone call he made to the family of tyre nichols during the day. we got a little bit of an alkt to see into that because a washington post reporter was in the room and shared some of it online. i think what s interesting about the video, oftentimes president biden when consoling family talks about his first wife and baby daughter dying, but here we get to actually see it. take a listen. your comments today were moving. i know tyre s death is dev stating. yes, sir.

happening around him. yeah. and the idea that antifa was there even though everybody was wearing trump flags and chanting, support our president. that is such a fundamental reason people want to speak to him. he only gave the one interview in the immediate aftermath. i think it was january 7th he sat down with that interview from d.c. with that local reporter. he shared those pictures that we obtained to by sharing them and texting them with roseann s father. they know that roseann hated crowds. they want to know if he was in some way, shape, or form the entry point for her into qanon. more importantly she told her family she was going to the rally to attend the rally president trump was speaking. how did she end up on the steps of the capitol? i want to know if you find him. i want to know if the family talks to him. but i m assuming i m going to have to wait for more episodes.

way fair conspiracy theory which was a bizarre and crazy theory, that way fair, this ecommerce comment was somehow involved in trafficking children through their online platform. totally false. totally false, completely bonkers. at the end of the day, it s what hooked her into it. she spent a lot of time looking into it and ultimately going to d.c. when her family talks about it and in the podcast, the religious aspect of it, that she feels people call qanon a cult. there is this intense sort of spiritual belief in something, in things unseen. this intense form of radicalization that is a bit impervious to the normal means of persuasion. yes. she sort of feels like she is a soldier in god s army. first of all, this a person by her own admission who finds god. she does find this community of people who believe the same way, and that was the path to god. what is interesting about it, and it s something i ve seen
