The key components of the American Families Plan that the President unveiled last night are incredibly popular because they deliver for the American people. Fifty-eight percent of Americans support universal pre-K. Fifty-eight percent also support expanding Affordable Care Act subsidies for low- and middle-income Americans to buy health insurance. Seventy-three percent of Americans, including sixty percent of Republicans, support expanding access to childcare for working families. Seventy-five percent of Americans, including sixty-four percent of Republicans, support ensuring all workers have access to paid leave. And 62 percent support an extension of the Child Tax Credit expansion. ....
