As farmers sitting on Delhi borders have completed 7 months of their protest against the three farm laws, they are observing Save Farming, Save Democracy Day on Saturday all across the country.
Separately, Shantanu moved the Aurangabad bench of the Bombay HC seeking transit anticipatory bail. Both the pleas will be heard on Tuesday.
“Based on the course of action decided in the Zoom meeting, Nikita, Shantanu, Disha collaborated together to draft the toolkit document. The document that they drafted had secessionist and pro- Khalistani content embedded into it through links and texts,” the Delhi Police said in a statement. It said the “second part of the same document mentioned tasks such as disruption of India’s cultural heritage such as yoga, tea and targeting Indian embassies abroad in various capitals”.
The police said a Canada-based woman named Puneet connected the trio to the PJF and through them created the toolkit titled ‘Global Farmer Strike’ and ‘Global Day of Action, January 26’. On February 4, police filed an FIR under charges of sedition, criminal conspiracy and promoting enmity among communities after Thunberg tweeted in support of farmers.

The names of Sidhu and gangster Lakka Sadana were included in the FIR registered in connection with the violence at Red Fort in Delhi on 26 January, the Delhi Police had said earlier while adding that Sidhu was involved in the incident. On 26 January, some people hoisted the flag at Red Fort. Some of them have been identified, among whom Deep Sidhu is the prime accused, Praveer Ranjan, Special Commissioner of Police (CP), Crime, told ANI.
