By Raynald C Rivera | The Peninsula The rhythm, music and movement of traditional Gulf dances have been vividly captured in colour by Kuwaiti artist May Al Saad in her solo exhibition aptly titled “Voice of Colour” launched virtually by the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara). Around 30 paintings by Al Saad can be viewed online through Katara’s official website and social media accounts. They all bear exceptional aesthetic details highlighted through the artist’s use of vibrant colours layered in such a way that the images convey the subjects’ feelings and the beauty of the dances.
