It s now Baby Bottle Fundraising time, and we are excited to introduce a new process this year! Churches, groups, and individuals may pick up baby bottles and join us for prayer time at the FMC home on Saturday, May 4, from 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. We will gather together, as believers supporting women choosing life. The baby bottles will be bagged and ready to be distributed. Our client Kavacia had encountered difficult childhood circumstances that followed her into young adulthood, surrounded by negative people, sketchy places, and substance use abuse. Having recently moved out of a domestic violence shelter, Kavacia walked through her fears of uncertainty, as she made her way through our doors, arriving pregnant, scared, and very much alone. Kavacia admitted, "I struggled with codependency, indecisiveness, depression, and people pleasing; all of these kept me in a place that was sad and stagnant and kept me in a dark place."

Faith Maternity Care (FMC) exists to serve women who choose to carry their babies to full-term, by providing a home for expectant mothers, along with community client services for moms who already have a place to call home. Our success as women is tied to other women. Our ability to flourish as mothers is tied to other mothers. Without other women to encourage us, to spark ideas for a solution, and to have someone else who gets us , we might not make it through the gauntlet of the toddler world, into the teen years of raising our children and beyond. It takes a few besties in mom life to keep your smile, joy, and excitement of motherhood. Someone needs to be there to help us grow as women and mothers. Shelley discovered a community need for a club to support mothers and reached out to a few women of faith, to link arms with her in this endeavor. Both Melissa Leisinger and Michelle Love replied with a resounding YES! Thus, the Callaway Moms Club was born.
