Authors to discuss their books at Phoenixville Public Library events

Books on Tap Books on Tap, Phoenixville Public Library’s book discussion group for adults in their 20s and 30s, will meet Tuesday, Jan. 30, at 7:00 PM, at PJ Ryan’s Pub, 233 Bridge St., Phoenixville. The group will discuss Jonathan C. Protecting assets Phoenixville Public Library will host a free presentation, “Protecting Assets for the Senior Years,” on Monday, Sept. 25, at 6:45 PM. Sean Curran of Curran Estate & Elder Law PPLC will be the speaker. His program will cover the dos and don’ts of estate planning, Medicaid, and how to protect your assets from nursing homes.  This event is free and open to the public. Decoupage class Phoenixville Public Library will host a decoupage class for adults on Thursday, Sept. 7, at 6:45 PM. Craft instructor Laura Grablutz will lead participants in making a decoupaged vase/candle holder. No painting or artistic skills needed! Book Discussion The Fourth Wednesday Readers, Phoenixville Public Library’s in-person book discussion group for adults of all ages, will meet at the Library on Wednesday, Aug. 23, at 1 PM. The group will discuss Liz Moore’s novel, “Long Bright River.” Set in Philadelphia, Moore writes a suspense novel about two sisters whose family is rocked by the opioid crisis. one, an addict, goes missing amid a series of mysterious murders.
