Iowa State, president have new representation on State Fair board

Iowa State University s new Iowa State Fair Board representative hopes to promote Iowa s agricultural heritage in her new role.
Iowa State President Wendy Wintersteen appointed Andrea Nelson, the assistant vice president of county services for Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, to represent her and the university on the board.
Nelson will succeed Robert Dodds, who was actively engaged in many projects, including the renovation of the 4-H Building on the Iowa State Fairgrounds, according to a news release from Iowa State Fair.
I look forward to representing Iowa State University and working with the entire board for a successful 2021 state fair in the promotion of Iowa’s agricultural heritage, unique learning opportunities, and a positive impact the fair has on the economy, Nelson said. ....
