a man is hospitalized in the east bay a bullet wound to the neck following a mysterious shoot in oakland. amy hollyfield is live at the oakland police department. there may be high-tech help? reporter: there were cameras in the area, police are hoping the cameras captured the shooting it happened five blocks from the fruitvale bart station about 10:30 last night this is at 39th avenue and international boulevard. alameda county deputies were in the area they happened to see the victim stumble out of his truck. he been shot in the neck. they think he was shot while driving. they blocked off the streets for their investigation and got him to the hospital. he is expected to be okay. no arrests have been made at this point police haven t said why they think he was shot. amy hollyfield, abc7 news. we have an update on the fatal accident out of the south bay. all lanes of northbound 101 in gilroy are now reopened. the chp shutdown two lanes of the freeway this morning aft ....

chief from tiburon, mike crohn non. where did you spot this guy and what did he do to get your attention. officers were parked at the intersection of tiburon boulevard. they looked to the west and saw the car had just taken out the traffic signal at bay vista and tiburon boulevard. as they watched, the car came by them. they pulled in behind him, attempted to stop him. he fled. they chased him about a mile into downtown tiburon where he reversed course, came back out tiburon boulevard and crashed a short disturbance from his first accident. this person, what can you tell us about him? we believe he s a black male about 30 years old. he fled from the car into the neighborhood along rancho which is between black field road and bay vista. we re searching that area for him now. we have some reason to believe he s the same man who committed a series of car thefts or thefts of vehicles rather last monday morning. and at that time we chased him. again, he fled from a car ....
