COVID-19 continues to maintain its hold on Strathcona County with the area sitting at 464 active cases reported Wednesday, Dec. 10.
COVID19Stats.Alberta.ca, the geospatial AHS case-tracking site, showed there were 353 active cases in Sherwood Park and 111 in the rural county.

In Sherwood Park, there have been 1,101 cases of COVID-19 recorded since the start of the pandemic, with 739 of those listed as recovered now, which is an increase of 96 recoveries since Monday, Dec. 7. There have also been nine deaths recorded in Sherwood Park due to the novel coronavirus but few details have been released. The lastest two deaths were reported over the weekend and on Monday. ....
