The federal complaint joined by 33 states claims Meta knowingly contributed to a youth mental health crisis and profited off of technologies to entice youth and teens.
The lawsuit alleges that Meta “designed and deployed harmful features on Instagram and Facebook that addict children and teens” and seeks injunctive and monetary relief.
