In just one week, residents of Saskatchewan will be asked to ‘ring those phones’ for Telemiracle 45.
The telethon will look different this year as will many community fundraisers. The Melfort Kinsmen and Kinettes are sticking to a tried-and-true fundraiser that is also COVID-19-friendly.
Kinette member Jackie McConaghy told northeastNOW the business community stepped up to sponsor sending a colourful toilet to other businesses around Melfort this week.

“When the toilet is delivered to the gifted business, they get a chance to send it to another for a small donation,” McConaghy said. “As of Friday morning, 20 businesses had signed up to participate.” ....
