F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva will launch a new virtual series, “Zoom Cooking With Leslie Adams,” starting on May 19 from 2 to 3 p.m. that will be offered monthly to those living on the islands.
Recipes will be presented in a class style as participants cook together as a group. Ingredients will be home delivered to those on Sanibel or Captiva the day of the event and are compliments of F.I.S.H. Participants should have cookware and utensils on hand. Recipes are geared toward smaller portions.
F.I.S.H., CareerSource to offer job skills workshop

F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva and CareerSource of Southwest Florida will offer a job skills workshop, “Interviewing Skills and Resume Writing,” on March 24 from 10 to 11 a.m. via Zoom.
Led by CareerSource Career and Development Representative Kim Fenty, the dual purpose workshop will teach participants how to write a resume and cover letter that will get them noticed and possibly land their dream job. It will also help prepare job seekers for interviews.
Fenty has worked with Fortune 500 companies and a number of advertising agencies. She specializes in customer service, written and oral presentations, and local workforce programmatic assistance.
