There? that is what lawmakers on capitol hill are exploring in a hearing on, quote, unidentified aerial phenomena. they re specifically looking into unexplained military sightings. we want to show you the video as i ve beensightings. this new video for the first time, no one can explain what the object in the video is. what is that? gotti schwartz has been following this hearing. reporter: i cannot. the pentagon did not explain. when you hear ufo video, somebody is expecting something conclusive. the reason why they showed this is because it shows how difficult it is to actually figure out what you are seeing there. it s just a couple of frames where you see that circular object zoom by. this is from in an f-18. ....
They didn t give particulars about this case. they said that it was taken from an f-18 in a restricted area, a training ground for f-18s. we assume that means possibly one of the training grounds they have on the east coast where navy pilots have reported seeing things that stay aloft. now we are showing this other video that the pentagon released. this video they showed because they wanted to show an explanation. it s an object flying over navy destroyers. there were drones flying over destroyers on the west coast. it looks like an upside down triangle. the pentagon today said that that was possibly the effect of a lens flare from a camera they were looking through, a night vision goggle. it was likely an unmanned aerial vehicle. ....
Circling or swarming navy ships off the coast of california. they said that that actually appears to be some unmanned aerial vehicle, so basically drones that they think that those are. that s video that we ve seen a few years ago, but there s another, if we can show it, from inside of a cockpit of an f-18 where a fighter pilot goes zooming by one of these things. it s shot with his cell phone, his iphone, and you see it for just a couple of frames, and that s something that was up in the sky with these fighter pilots, and it looks like a near miss. we re not sure if that was particularly a near miss in the other video that was shown during the briefing, but it comes very close to that plane, and so when you re dealing with uaps, there s this whole safety issue, and some of the aviators that we ve talked to have said, look, there is a national security concern here. if we re going up into the sky and we could run into one of these things and they could ....
Answer the question is it really true? maybe there is some gain behind it i don t want to believe that some partners of ours are playing games. we want simple peace for our nation. we don t want a million quality bullet proof vest or some special brand helmets. just give us missiles. give us airplanes. you cannot give us f-18 or f-19 whatever you have. give us the old soviet plane. that s all. get them into my hands. give me something to defend my country with my state. and if you want it and i believe that the united states the people of the united states want ....
