Experts at Portland State University say Oregon is now in a fourth surge of COVID-19. Cases and hospitalizations are up and the potential for more restrictions is looming.
Ken Stedman is a biology professor at PSU. He s hopeful a decline in cases is coming and calls this current peak unexpected.
Yeah, I’m surprised. I thought that things actually looked pretty good from my point of view and we were kind of going down, but not going down far enough, and that’s what I’m worried about, is we didn’t get down far enough and now we seem to be going back up again, Stedman said. ....
