Events - Supporting decision making on agricultural input reductions in lettuce production - Day 2 - Teagasc

Event Time 10am - 2pm Venue Online workshop Online workshop taking place across two days on Monday, 19th & Tuesday, 20th April 2021 from 10am to 2pm each day. Researchers at Teagasc, Universities of Warwick and Sussex are working to develop data – based decision support for growers wishing to find strategies for meeting the EU green deal requirements on agricultural inputs whilst minimising food loss. Field-grown head lettuce is being used as the exemplar crop in the development of a proof-of-concept tool. An online workshop will be held on 19/04/2021: 10:00-14:00 and 20/04/2021: 10:00-14:00. Participants from the lettuce growing and research community in Ireland and the UK are invited to attend the workshop in order to give quantitative estimates for elements where data are not available.
