the recent messaging that we ve heard from this white house has essentially been that inflation isn t as bad as americans perceive it to be. the administration is arguing that turkeys will cost american families a dollar more. overall, the items that you expect for the thanksgiving meal is about a 5% increase in cost. that s the number that they re providing than it was last year. so even though that the feeling of inflation, the expensiveness of goods might feel more, they re trying to tell americans, it s not really as bad as you perceive it to be and i expect to hear more talk like that tomorrow. charles: that would be dangerous, to tell people listen, you know, you re walking out of the store with less stuff, fewer bags than you normally would. don t worry. it s just your imagination. is there any chance that might president biden will say there s something that could have been
special counsel and, you know, echoing a lot of the things that the president has said. that this is a witch-hunt and this has gotten, you know, just the expensiveness of the probe on the mueller side. what s interesting here is the question of what this prompts the president to do. but if you look at sessions actions, i agree with you. with the time magazine, with the dinner he s had with rosenstein recently, kind of daring the president sending a message with that dinner in a prominent restaurant in a place where a picture could be taken. in some ways, he s trying he could be protecting the president in a way saying, you know, i dare you to fire me, but if you do, the consequences are just so vast and will be detrimental. what do you think of the politics? i think it will be fun to watch sessions basically troll the president in real time. i think sessions is being strategic. he s going halfway.
