Reliably red. now one of the big competitive swing states. almost impossible to see republicans getting to 270, what it takes to win without virginia. remember the four states i just touched? here s what happened a year ago. obama, 332. mitt romney, 206. if romney could have taken florida, could have kept eye warning where would that have put him? virginia could be a decisive swing state. switch that and romney wins the election by those four states. if you look out west. nevada because of the latino population, hard to see it going republican. new mexico, hard to sight swinging back. in some ways, these the four most important swing states. people will study every line of this exit poll data looking forward, not only to the mid material elections but into 2016. we are not yet able to make a projection. we ll see if we can sooner ....
With a sampling of voter as they left select polling stations throughout virginia today. here are the updated exit polls, waited exit polls. 47% for terry mcauliffe, 7% for rob sarvis. a very, very close race shaping up, 47%, 45%, remember, these are exit poll estimates. the final outcome may be different, but clearly, we see what could be an extremely tight race in virginia. we ll share more exit poll data like this throughout the night, but let me show you the actual votes that have now been tallied, have actually been counted. 29% of the vote is now in. ken kuch necuccinelli is ahead. 51-42, still 58,000 plus ahead ....

Nation. this is a safety issue. and we see moms rising up not only around gun issues, but around other public safety issues. like the growing momentum for getting paid sick days. 80% of low-wage oh don t have access to have a single paid sick day. we re also seeing this at moms rising around immigration reform. we have moms coming together all the time to say, listen, we have a structural issue. we have a national problem. we have a safety issue. we need to be able to raise our children so they can thrive and importantly, so our national economy can thrive. women make 85% of purchasing decisions. and so when we re making less wages, kmops do, when we re not able to spend our money and can t raise healthy kids, the whole economy suffers. so bringing this to a national economic discussion is important. i was looking at the exit poll data from the 2012 election, and a statistic really jumped out at me about mothers and voting and i want to share that statistic after this. ou. you re too ....
You tout the health care law. he campaigned on and delivered not only to minorities but to everyone who has a potential to end up benefitting. mitt romney on that conference call was saying, president obama was able to deliver to his voters. well, a lot of people say that s what a politician who wins re-election should do. as far as a presentation giving, he gave a presentation yesterday to gop senators. it contained a lot of exit poll data. it did not say anything about gifts, why mitt romney lost. it looked at it and the things we discussed in the past, the changing demographics in the country. a little bump president obama got from hurricane sandy as well as a lot of voters still blaming george w. bush more than barack obama for the state of the economy. it s so interesting. i liked at ohio a lot, and we talked about, governor rendell, ohio. mark, the auto bailout was a big factor in that state, and when you look at the overall white vote, the gap in ohio was closed ....
