During a year when social isolation was a necessary part of fighting a global pandemic, preparing and delivering healthy meals to our seniors and those homebound was crucial. A huge thank you to our volunteers, donors and supporters! Meals on Wheels wrote on their Facebook page. The meal you see here, sponsored by the Exchange Club of Ridgefield, was delivered by MOW volunteers to community members on New Year s Eve! Meals on Wheels is a 501(c)(3) organization that, since 1972, has been providing nourishment to any Ridgefield resident who cannot prepare their own meals: the elderly, disabled and infirm, even those with short term needs such as recovery from surgery or illness.
