ALBANY, N.Y. (WKBW) â The New York State Board of Regents is taking bold action to help address unique student needs linked to the pandemic.
On Monday, the board acted on a series of emergency regulations to allow for exemptions to diploma requirements associated with June and August 2021 Regents exams. This includes a plan to cancel the August 2021 Regents Exams. Should the U.S. Department of Education deny the Departmentâs waiver request, only four of the June 2021 Regents Exams would be held.
