everything was quiet. then on december 10th, 1994, the unabomber claimed his second fatality. the latest victim was advertising executive thomas mosser. in all 16 bombs in 17 years in locations all over the united states. thomas mosser was killed by a mail bomb sent to his home in north caldwell, new jersey. as it turned out, mosser had been targeted because kaczynski mistakenly believed he had helped exxon clean up its image after the exxon valdez oil spill. just over three months later, the unabomber s reign of terror sincely overshadowed by a much more destruct everybody blast. on the morning we all get the call there s been a terrible bombing in oklahoma city. so we re really focused on this at this point, because everybody s going to be asking is this the unabomber.
