Half the field of the Women’s Candidates will battle it out in a knockout event to decide who qualifies to a final match set to take place sometime in 2023. FIDE announced the adoption of a new format back in June, and has yet to disclose where and when the second group of players (i.e. Pool B) will fight for the remaining spot in the final.
