A memorial wall is the latest addition to the Harry and Eve Vickar shelter in Melfort. According to Bill Wood with the North East SPCA, the wall was originally planned for the opening of the shelter in the fall of 2019. “What we did was just kept track of all of our memorial donations and then we added them once the shelter was up and we found a good place for the wall,” Wood said. The memorial wall is located on the west wall of the Shelter lobby and is ready for viewing. “The names in the display are names of people who are remembered as animal lovers or pet lovers,” Wood said. “We also have names of dogs and loved pets on the board.” ....
