Nebraska Methodist College, the Douglas County Health Department and the Omaha Housing Authority are coming together to provide COVID-19 vaccines for Omaha Housing Authority residents and members of the community.According to a news release from the Omaha Housing Authority, the COVID-19 vaccines will be provided on April 13, April 20 and April 21. The vaccine clinic schedule is as follows:4/13: Benson Tower from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.4/13: Florence Tower from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.4/20: Underwood Tower from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. 4/20: Kay Jay Tower from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.4/21: Crown Tower from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. 4/21: Evans Tower from 12:30 p.m. 2:30 p.m.The vaccinations will be administere ....

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Some say it’s a ticket to health, while others still don’t trust the COVID-19 vaccine.
They are often people who are minorities, immigrants, refugees, or earn low incomes.
“I already had Covid before, but I went ahead and gave it a try just so I don’t get it again and it’s not as severe,” said Amber Frazier, Kay Jay Tower employee.
Frazier still has doubts about the vaccine after she received her first dose Tuesday at her workplace. That’s why staff and students at Nebraska Methodist College are reaching out to invisible populations right at their doorstep. ....
